The desire to set sail is to tell stories of lone individuals facing the sea. People who chose to depart alone, aboard a boat. Salt-crusted adventure tales. Their relationship with the ocean, their rituals\u2026 and their stories.<\/p>\n

Why this urge to confront something greater than oneself? Why throw oneself headlong into the unknown? What drives us, despite the dangers, to embark on an adventure? By exploring each person\u2019s relationship with risk, this show will blend animated cutouts, puppetry, and grand narratives of sailors, all around a boat-shaped marionette stage. To deliver thrilling sensations to those who prefer staying on land, feet dry, listening to tales.<\/p>\n

And what place, anyway, for the faint-hearted in these epic journeys?<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
