The Théâtre de l’Entrouvert is an artistic company based in the heart of the Vaucluse, in Apt, directed by Elise Vigneron, director, puppeteer and visual artist, and a graduate of the National School of Puppetry Arts in Charleville-Mézières. At the crossroads of visual arts, theatre and contemporary puppetry, its works are presented locally and regionally, as well as on renowned national and international stages. Reaching out to a wide and diverse audience with atypical and contemporary proposals, leading collaborative projects with the inhabitants of a territory, and developing artistic cooperation projects internationally are at the core of the company’s DNA.

For about ten years, a research cycle on ice has been carried out in dialogue with climatologists and glaciologists, resulting in the staging of life-sized articulated ice puppets. Here, poetic experience becomes a vehicle for an ecological approach that invites us to become physically, in our own flesh, aware of environmental issues.
To pursue its actions, the Théâtre de l’Entrouvert now wishes to bring together committed and passionate economic partners to support its inclusive local projects, contribute to the development of cooperation initiatives and take part in its environmentally engaged approach.
