The Théâtre de l’Entrouvert is a company created 15 years ago by Elise Vigneron, a director and puppeteer whose work is renowned in France and internationally.
The company’s ADN lies in pursuing a cutting-edge contemporary approach based on experimental research, developing international artistic cooperation projects, and reaching out to a wide and varied audience with unusual and collaborative proposals.
For the past ten years, the company has been working on a cycle on ice, in dialogue with climatologists and glaciologists, which has resulted in the staging of life-size articulated ice puppets. The poetic experience becomes a vehicle for an ecological approach that invites us to become physically aware, in our own flesh, of environmental issues.
